# Referrals

## **What Is the Referral System?**

Every player gets a unique referral code that they can share with friends, family, or anyone ready to dive into the game. When someone signs up using your referral code, they're linked to you as their referrer. It's a simple way to connect and build a shared journey in the game!

Both the referrer and the referred player get a seashell bonus.

* **Shared Progress:** Whenever someone you referred levels up, you also earn Seashells!
* **Keep Growing Together:** The more your friends play and progress, the more Seashells you accumulate as a referrer.

1. **Referrer**

Receives 10% of the player’s gold and silver seashell earnings of the first 3 months. The 10% are awarded on top, the referred player’s earnings remain untouched.

> XP is rounded up for seashells which means that any amount of seashells you win less than 1 will translate into 1xp
>
> e.g. when a person you referred gains 0.13 seashells for losing a 2 person match => you earn 0.013 seashells => 1xp
>
> This means that users who will refer many others will earn XP much faster

2. **Referred Player**

The referred player receives a one-time bonus of silver seashells based on the referrer’s level. That makes referrals competitive and rewards active players versus referral farmers.

A minimum and maximum amount of silver seashells is set to ensure that being referred remains attractive but doesn’t end up centralized to a few referrers.

## **How to Get Started**

1. **Find Your Code:** Head to your profile and copy your unique referral code.
2. **Share the Love:** Send the code to your friends and invite them to join the game.
3. **Track Your Rewards:** Check your referral stats to see who's leveling up and how many Seashells you've earned!

* **Do I lose my Seashells when I share a code?**\
  No, sharing your referral code does not deduct from your Seashell balance. It's all about earning more!
* **Can I use multiple referral codes?**\
  You can only enter one referral code when signing up. Make it count!
* **Is there a limit to how many Seashells I can earn from referrals?**\
  There's no cap—keep sharing and levelling up for endless rewards.
